Four Years, Now What? (2019)
I studied at a small, liberal arts college, sequestered on an idyllic campus, completely removed from the “real world”. I made these photos during the last semester there in 2019, as we prepared to leave our bubble, out into a world that had seemed much darker than it had been four years earlier.
Four Years, Now What is an attempt to capture the disorienting combination of fear/joy, hope/pessimism, ambition/fatalism we felt during our final days as privileged, sheltered youths.
